It looks like a nice landscape of hills and stands of pine trees. But don’t be fooled…where is this photo taken? And what are those “trees”?

This landscape is actually the surface of Mars, and those things that look like trees are trails of debris caused by landslides. If you look just left of the center of the photo, you can see a cloud of dust as an avalanche actually takes place.
